The individual qualified for the Sales Manager : Group Sales Development position is an experienced, disciplined, manager who is positive, enthusiastic, motivated, goal oriented, and can work in a highly effective and accurate manner with limited direct supervision and within a small team, or all alone. You are coming from a strong background of sales success in the hospitality, or other industries, you have used email and social marketing platforms, you understand communication arts, you are familiar with Photoshop, Youtube, and a camera, and you have the attention to detail and energy required to take a small business to the next level. You are both strategic and tactical, and believe that hard work still pays off. You also understand and appreciate the distinction between high pressure and high passion sales. In addition, you value health and vitality, and being outdoors, you avoid increasingly common distractions and you like to have fun at work in ways that enhance performance, and take advantage of every minute of every day through constant, decisive action, not waiting for things to come to you.
This position can be seasonal or year:round, depending upon the performance of the candidate. Some of the work can be done remotely or may require limited regional travel. Prior paddling experience is not essential : but you will be expected participate to gain the credibility vital to success. The option to become an equity partner in the business may also be available for the right candidate.
There will be a strong sense of being your own boss without many of the risks and burdens of actual ownership, with generous commissions limited only by your performance.
